Airbrushing and more.
Accessories
airbrush, air compressor, bees wax, jars, styrofoam container, straw or stir, paint, alcohol, sponge, microfiber cloth, shammy, lexan scissors, lexan body or canopy, mask, acid brush, fine paint brush, masking tape, marker, stencils, circle cutter, picture glue, decals and stickers
Getting Started
You will want to make an airbrush cleaning station. By doing this you will save yourself a lot of time and the clean up process will be simple. You will want to use a milk jug, soda bottle, etc. Cut a hole near the top big enough for your airbrush to fit inside. Wad up some paper towels and stuff them inside the hole. This will help absorb the paint as you clean the gun out. You will be cleaning out your gun with water first and then alcohol during this process. Then you will want to take apart your gun and continue to wipe down and clean it. When you put the gun back together, you will want to use some bees wax to seal it.
Mixing Paint and Storage
You want to mix all your paint the first time so make sure you mix enough for the project your working on. Strain the paint as your pouring it. A little screen will work fine. You can store the paint in glass jars. (baby food jars work fine.) Put them is a styrofoam container to prevent them from getting damaged. You can use a plastic straw or stir to mix the paint around.
Prep the body
First you want to mark where your body posts will be on the body with a marker. Cut out the holes and any vents. Next use the lexan scissors to cut out your body. Last step is to wash the body with soap and water, use a sponge to scruff up the inside of the body a little bit. Dry off the body. Once the body is dry you can get ready to put your pictures on the inside using the picture glue. Follow the directions
